The listing, 18K GOLD FILLED-RING CLEAR COLOR has ended.

The first 4 pictures is why i had ordered this ring for my self. it was described as purple amethyst 18k gold filled. but when i got it, it was a clear color, very pale amethyst or no amethyst color in it at all. and i'm not sure what the 18k gold filled means. it's a very nice ring, just didn't want clear, almost like a diamond color. but not. please look at pictures really good, you are not getting the first 4 pictures, but the last 4 pictures.

I know what you mean..its actually a gem called Tanzanite when it is that light purple....but alot ppl are wanting than tanzanite..so you probally do well..I myself too prefer the color in the 1st 4 picks..Good Luck on your auctions:)

this one is size 9, i'm sorry I didn't say that, it's my size, it's just not my color. brand new never used, just took one look and closed it up with disapointment at the color and put it away.

THIS IS THE INFORMATION THAT SOMEONE ON ANOTHER AUCTION WROTE ABOUT GOLD FILLED....BTW Gold filled is when the jeweler uses a base metal - cheap metal scrap metal Then they take the good metal, in this case 14k gold, and coat it, "fill it". It is not the same as plated, plated is just a thin top coat, but filled is a sturdier option, it uses a thin sheet of gold that is smelted onto the base metal. Electro plate is when the ring is put in a bath solution that chemically places the thinnest layer of gold possible on the ring that then wears off with minimal contact. Filled is not as good as solid, but is still better than plated. It makes a thicker layer of gold that will not easily rub off.

I lived in Torrance, gardena, Carson and Salinas, and husband is from Carson , Calif. and son is in Monterey CA..And we lived at Ft Ord CA before they closed that up. and ft Lewis Wash area. just everywhere :) and Louisiana, Texas two places in Texas and Hawaii for 4 years. I love moving but I been here now for 20 years, so I guess this is it.
