Medium flat rate box - full of pink and white tones. Full skeins New!!! Bought to make an afghan and had to have surgery on my right hand... no more crocheting for me! My loss is your gain... Each skein worth at least $5.00 retail!!!! If bids go over 5000 will increase to a large box!!!! if over 10000, I'll ship all of the new yarn that I have on hand... and that's a lot in lots of colors! Red Heart, Yarn Bee, Lion Brand, etc.... Thanks so much. My doc says I probably will be able to crochet "some" in a few years, but not to the degree that I have in the past

What kind of surgery are you having? I had surgery on my left thumb (LRTI, I think) & i can crochet & knit better than ever, no more arthritis pain. Praying that all goes well for you.

Already had the surgery on my right thumb. They took out a bone in my wrist! I will never have really good range of motion in my thumb according to my doc. I hope you are right and he is wrong!!!

Never give up. I can tell you first hand that recovery is painful but not nearly as painful as my thumb before my surgery. I was ready to chop it off with a meat cleaver, it hurt so bad. The exercises are painful, but necesssary to regain mobility of your thumb. My Mom had the same surgery & quit therapy because it hurt. She never has regained the use of her thumb nearly as much as mine. The only thing on mine is I have a slightly tight tendon across my palm. I will never give up my crochet & knitting as long as I have hands. Please don't skip the therapy, even if you have to do it yourself at home. And don't give away all your yarn & stuff just yet, you don't wanna have to start over. God bless!

I'm keeping my needles and hooks, most of which were either given to me by my mom or were hers that I inherited. I will probably keep some yarn just to check from time to time to see it it works... my thumb that is...
