The listing, GARMIN NUVI 1300 GPS has ended.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE U BID...This GPS works Great with 4.3 widescreen... BUT.. it has some issues..First of all it needs to be updated..The Maps still work Great but when u first turn the unit on it will tell u its time to update...2nd issue is.. The battery works on the unit but when u plug in the back plug to charge it or to use it in the car u have to put tape on the back to hold the plug in the unit,the plug needs to be pressed inside the slot...I'm not sure if just the plug needs to be replaced....A few small scratches here and there, it is used but other then that this GPS has been a life saver for me...I just dont want to deal with the issues on this gps but whoever wins this will be very happy once the updates are downloaded...Listia address only.....Happy Bidding....This GPS comes with a car charger, and a windshield mount holder...

If u put tape on the back where the plug is and give it pressure to hold it in the hole then the plug works great...Ive used it like that for 4 months with no problem at all..It might be just the cord,but i have no clue..

Do you know what updates are available for this and how much. The site ask for serial number to check for updates and I am trying to figure out how much I would be looking at to update the maps on this.

I'm trying to update it as we speak.. I really dont know how much it is to update Gps's..I know its just not this brand, all brands of Gps's need to be updated one time or another..Alot of updates are free..The map still works great without updates.. I can see updating maps if ur a traveler but i dont travel much so i really dont need updates...I wish i can tell u more info on Gps'd but i really dont know much about them..
