Just an FYI, as a new Listian, your auction may not get any bids due to the shipping charges. There's a good deal of scammers here who set up accounts and most of us experienced Listians have been burned. If you were to do Free Shipping you'd likely get a fair amount of bids for these cards. Additionally, $2.60 is a good deal to charge for 9 baseball cards. Finally, do you accept PayPal? It's unclear.

Thanks for the info! I figured with the shipping charges but I wanted to try it this way first. A lot of these auctions I wouldn't mind losing at the 50 mark as long as I was compensated for my shipping so it's worth it to me even at the minimum. If anyone is really worried I use this same ID on Ebay, the Blowout card forums, and blogger - you can check those sites to see that I'm a reliable trader/buyer/seller with 100% satisfaction across all sites. I won't rip ya off! And in case you're really worried, I only accept paypal goods, not paypal gift. That means if I did rip you off you could get your money back - with gift you can't.

I can't tell if you mean $2.60 is a legit price or $2.60 is a good deal too much, but just to cover all bases here's how I figure out shipping for me:
$1.80ish for the shipping, .50 for delivery confirmation, about .50 for the mailer (I know it's a lot but I sell small time and that's the cheapest I can get mailers that I've seen near my house). Comes to $2.80...I went down to $2.60 because I just want to cover most of my costs. And then with goods I actually make less money than I would with gift since paypal takes out a cut so I get less than $2.60 back in the end.

And as for paypal, I added that note to the end. I only accept paypal. No concealed cash or money orders or anything as that gets messy sometimes and I'm trying to keep my deals as clean as possible.

Thanks for the response. No disrespect intended, and I appreciate that thorough response, but what I am saying is that $2.60 is a lot higher than most of us who trade cards on Listia charge if we charge at all for shipping (I stopped charging shipping pretty quickly as people just won't bid and you'll either sell at your opening bid or get no bids; Listia credits are the system here -- even as compensation for shipping).

Gotcha, makes sense. I know you're right but I still want to keep these at $2.60 for now - I'm trying to keep Listia as free as possible for me as I'm in a budget crunch right now, so right now I'll sacrifice the credits for the cash. But in the future I definitely hope to have some auctions with free shipping!
