very unique necklace, it measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1/2 and is 24". is your skin sensitive to perfumes? this might be the necklace for you, just put some perfume on a cotton ball and put it inside the little purse. Yes it does open. This is New without tags. I will be out of town Aug 1- Aug 5th so please give me a few days to play catch up. i am not sure, i do not believe it is real silver, just silvertone. I guess i said that about the perume as an example of something that could possibley be done. thanks fan back
