Brand New, only took it out of the bag to take the photo, then put it right back in. Pretty large bag to bring a change of clothes to the beach. Hot pink and white with Black letters.

what kind of material is it nylon or something thicker?

The material is kind of like a light canvas/nylon mix and is not a very thick fabric but it does appear to be a durable looking bag. In my opinion is would be best to carry clothes and other light objects, not for things like school books, pens, or other sharp/heavy things that could potentially puncture the fabric and make it wear out faster.
