Elegant, wood armoire; Organize your jewelry with this beautiful and functional small chest designed especially for jewelry. Sides with hooks swing out to hold necklaces, 2 drawers out of the 6 are divided into compartments, top has area for rings and an open area, mirror on inside of top. Like new except for scratch on rear of back leg. Never used - still have the silica gel used in packing! 38" tall, 14.5" across, 10" deep. Sorry to not have replied sooner, a major family issue has kept me busy for the last few days. When I originally ordered it, it came from FedEx and the shipping and handling charge was 79.20. I still have the receipt. Apparently the USPS is cheaper and of course, it depends on where it's coming from and going to....I'm still learning and haven't meant to confuse or frustrate anyone. This is also why I haven't bid on anything or been on here at all the last couple of days. I also still have unanswered questions about this website...although everyone seems very friendly!

I'm sorry i have not gotten back with you but there was a death in my family right after I joined this thing. I have also been waiting to hear back from the people at Listia - I'm new here and have many questions but they have not gotten back with me yet! The box this is now packed in is 42" x 18 and it weighs 52.6 lbs. According to the USPS, to your area code, it would cost $66.60 to ship from here. When I first ordered it, I think it came from farther away or they charged extra for 'handling' because my shipping costs were $79.20. I'm still not sure how all this works and still waiting to hear back about my many questions,that are not answered by F.A.Q. or anywhere else I can find on here. I guess, like anything else, you just have to work with it a while, make mistakes and get to know it! Sorry about the delay....

Probably cheaper to send UPS (United Parcel Service) and they will pick it up. Either way, you will also need to know the width, length and height of the box.

That was what it was when I ordered it new about a year ago....It's kind of heavy. I've got it all packed up now and should find out about shipping tomorrow. P.S. Does anyone know how long it takes the listia people to respond to a support ticket/question??

Weighing.. you need to have the total weight and then you go to USPS.com and use their zip code and yours. It will tell you how much the shipping will be.

Just get it packaged and take it to the post office. They can weigh it for you. You can use the weight at several different sites using the zip code it's going to determine a shipping cost. OR you can just see about fitting it into a flat rate.
