It is PC2, which is DDR2 Ram. The speed is next to it (5300). Before buying the ram, you should have checked if your motherboard supports that ram.

To know what ram you currently have installed and what ram your motherboard supports, go to http://www.crucial.com/ and click on "scan my system".

It should take you to another web page that tells you what and how much ram you have, and the ram that is compatible with your motherboard.
