The listing, Nintendo DS Lite - Works But Needs Some Help! has ended.
Giving away our Daughter's working Nintendo DS Lite because it has issues and she has moved on to Wii. The issues are:
1.) There is a loose pin in the game slot and you have to put it in place with a toothpick (or the like) to get the game to load. (It is NOT the easiest thing to do - but DOES work!) You can get a replacement slot shipped from the USA for $3 on eBay - but then you will have to change it out (YouTube has the how-to videos!)
2.) I opened it to decide if I wanted to try fixing it (I don't) and ignorantly snapped off a tiny black piece of plastic from the power slider when putting it back together. So I took out the little plastic cover - and now easily turn it on with...a toothpick. My first thought was to put a touch of Super Glue on it and just reattach it. Then I had a vision of me making things worse - and quit while I was ahead.
3.) It has some scratches on the bottom screen. They do not look too horrible - especially when looking at it straight on - but they are certainly prevalent. I am not sure if they can be buffed out, or not.
Otherwise, it is a perfectly good, perfectly running DS Lite in very good condition. Comes ONLY with the original stylus, as shown. The games were listed a while ago and are all gone (see my feedback!), and we have not seen the charger since last X-Mas - which is the last time it was actually charged. (Yes - I searched the Toy Box!)
