This comic is in NM condition and will come bagged and boarded.

Cable and a girl named Hope escape the crosshairs of a dangerous sniper, but not before Cable takes a couple of bullets. After pumping the sniper full of hot lead, the take a brief rest before moving on.

Hope still doesn't realize that she is the last and only true-blooded mutant left in this post-apocalyptic world. She constantly wonders why Cable puts himself in danger for her.
Cable trains her to outsmart her opponents by using tricks, making them see only what she wants them to see.

Years pass and Hope is no longer the helpless little girl she used to be. Her anger and resilience have gotten stronger. As she stares into the bonfire of their campsite, Cable gets a disturbing vision into Hope's soul...one that hints at the Phoenix's return.
Apparently it wasn't finished after Jean Grey.
