This auction is for at least 25 large blubs from the tops of the Egyptian walking onion plant. Grown organically. This is a neat onion that forms little bulbs on the top of it that fall over and replant themselves from year to year. The bulbs on top can be used like garlic, pickled or eaten fresh. The greens on the whole plant are edible and are great in a chowder. The Onion on the bottom is usually small but still big enough to be useful. About 2 inches is the biggest I've ever seen them when growing in fertile soil. Plant with lots of compost in full sun, weed well, and replant the tops.
