Training halter used by all the pros to teach their Arabians, Morgans and American Saddlebreds to stand up for Halter and conformation classes. Average horse size, very adjustable. Havana color, high quality leather. Lightly used but VERY well taken care of. You would need to purchase or have a chain for the chin peice-any light stud chain will work. This can also be used to show in Showmanship at smaller shows! Retails new for around $25.

Is this used like a training hackamore?

No It's used to teach horses to stand up in Halter/conformation classes and can be used for kids showing Showmanship in 4-H. The hackamore I have listed is not a bosal but is great for teaching young horses to go forward with no pressure in their mouths. I think you are thinking of a rope halter, of which i have several extra and will put one up for auction in just a bit!

Well there is something like this that is used for training,but I'm not sure what it is called. Okay awesome I use rope halted with my horses!

I put up a couple of rope halters, which is what I think you were referring to. One black, one brown-both average horse sized. Enjoy!
