Cherokee purple are a delicious heirloom that was originally cultivated by the Native American Cherokee people and date back before 1890.
These tomatoes are sweet and juicy and can weight up to 1 lb each!!
They are red and purple when ripe and extremely tasty!

I planted some Purple Cherokee plants this year and they are so good! Excellent tomatoes!

not having much luck with my cherokee plants, not many tomatoes per plant only 2-4 each not many flowers were pollinated this year.

Mine have produced tons of tomatoes! I fertilize with organic kelp which increases the blooms naturally. Wonderful stuff! The company that makes it is growmore. You can find it listed for sale online :)

Sometimes the problem can be a lack of bees. You can thump the tomato plants with your fingers and it will help the pollen in the flowers to move which can help. Sunflowers attract bees so planting some of those will help also
