The listing, 2018 P Lincoln Cent Feeder Finger Error has ended.
This is really nice and you are not likely to encounter one in circulation. This came from a solid date bank box and is in brilliant uncirculated condition. Basically, a feeder finger moves blank planchets along as they are being sent into the coin making chamber to be struck. In this case this feeder finger was misaligned and scraped across the blank planchet. Where the scrapes appeared there was extra metal that had to fill in the scrapes and these appear as raised markings in the field of the coin, in this case, in from of Lincoln's face. Hard to photograph but I'm sure you will be pleased with this very different and genuine error. Mailed correctly and shipped free.
