Description
The listing, 1936-7 Manchukuo stamp lot (some dups), MH/used, est CV $20.30 has ended.
Manchukuo was a Japanese puppet state in Northern China. Stamps were only issued from 1932 to 1945. It's history is complicated and the area was initially ruled by the last of China's emperors who was forcibly installed by the Japanese but had no real power. For further information on this short-lived state please see https://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Manchukuo, which is the source of my information about this interesting area.
Scott IDS are on the second photo overlay, and estimated total Scott catalog value is approximately $20.30. From a smoke free home. Thank you for bidding!
