You should really add delivery conformation with a item like this. If you ship it & the buyer says they never got it then listia will give the buyer their credits back. Print a label online you get free delivery confirmation .

Hi do you have a scale & know how much it weighs? You can go to USPS.com or paypal & print shipping labels. Priority mail is 4.95 and it includes free delivery conformation. If you print your label through paypal and ship it regular mail 1st class delivery conformation is free. Do you know how much it weighs? I shipped a iPhone it was only 7 ounces. Or less & cost $2 with free conformation. Of you can't pro t your label, then go to the post office get 1st class mail & tell them you want delivery conformation it will cost.80 cents extra. So around $3.00 w/ DC#. Hope that helps.

I don't think it will cost much more than $3.00. PLEASE don't send it without tracking number!!! LOTS of mail NEVER gets where it's supposed to go! Even if it does get to the winner, no offense potential winner, if they say that they never got it, you'll have no proof that you even sent it! PLEASE PLEASE don't take that chance!!! If you do, don't say that you weren't warned!

I used to haul the mail, from sort centers to the train rail heads. You'd be surprised at the amount of stuff that disappears from there. Maybe not! The old addage of CYA applies. Cover your A (butt) and your buyers. Delivery conformation is inexpensive, and can protect you both.

To ship an iPod when paying online it will cost 2.25 if sent in a bubble mailer and that includes free delivery confirmation. To go into your local post office it is 2.25 plus .85 for the delivery confirmation. Small price to pay on an item this expensive. Sellers who don't use confirmation is a MAJOR red flag on any other site. Not sure about this one since I only started today, but I would NEVER buy from any seller who won't send an item with tracking.

@mcleu77, you would ship a GLASS ipod touch just by itself in a bubble mailer? I see you dont have alot of expierence in shipping out items, or else you would know that is completely wrong. Just in case some day I bid on an ipod touch from you, lol, please bubble wrap the ipod touch itself, then place it in a small plastic bag (ziplock works) to keep it from getting wet, ive sent packages to Seattle where they just left the item on the doorstep and it rained, then place in a USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box, and make sure that theres shredded paper around the whole ipod, every side, so it has good protection. Then you pay for your postage online, and Delivery Confirmation will be free. So I believe the final price is more like $4.95, like the seller stated. $5.75 if you pay in person cause you would have to pay for DC (tracking).

Yeah a box would be better! I have shipped a iPhone in a plastic bubble mailer but I wrapped it good, then put it in a plastic priority mailer & it arrived fine. But a small box would be better iPods are more fragile than iPhone 3Gs.

I ship over 100 items a week. As it is an electronic item, I guess I just assumed that some sort of cardboard box was implied. I use small flat rate priority mail boxes filled with bubble wrap and slide it into a bubblemailer to save on the priority fees. Maybe should have made that more clear as the seller of this item seems a little green still. Sorry for my vague response, hope that clears it up.
