Description

The listing, PC Wireless USB Internet Adapter has ended.

Up for grabs is a wireless internet adapter that you can plug into your desktop USB port to make it wireless :) Great to have if you don't want cables running all over the place, or if your router is in another part of the house.

The CD doesnt say what is it compatible with, however I used it with XP and it was perfectly fine. It is made by EDUP, so I'm sure you could google more info on it.

Comes complete with installation disk, and I will do free shipping to the US only. Canada shipping is $3.00. I do not ship anywhere else, sorry.

Good luck and happy bidding!

I used it clear across my house, and we have a 6 bedroom place with 2 floors. Dunno if the quality of router has anything to do with that or not, I was just using as Belkin.

Honestly, I have no clue. Maybe they have more information on the net somewhere. I don't have a PSP so I never tried. I only used it on a desktop for a month before my mom upgraded her pc.

Maybe some of the older PSPs do not have it, because I saw that this particular company also makes an adapter like this that is specifically for the PSP/DS. I dont know if that means that this one will work or not, I just know I saw one.

My PSP has built in Wifi, but there aren't any ports near me. I was hoping I could find something that could help me out :)

This is a G series WiFi receiver.
The speed is 54 mbps.
This does not make a wireless access point.
It only receives them if they are real close by.
This can be used on a desktop or a laptop.
------------------------------------------------------
The PSP has this built inside,
If there is no signal then it won't receive.
------------------------------------------------------
The PSP adapter is a little thing just like this.
except it actually sends a signal like a router.
and any wifi equiped device can access it.
The PC or laptop this is on must be connected to the internet for this to work.

I did, StarBaby. My PSP has built in Wifi, but it doesn't pick up from a router. Whoever said that, is wrong. Well, maybe a PSPGo does, but not older models.

The same company that makes this adapter also makes one specifically for PSP/DS. I happened to notice it when I was looking up info on this one.

I wish I could tell you if this worked with a PSP, but I'd be guessing and that's not fair. To be safe, I suggest the other one they make, only because I cant see why they would make 2 different ones if they both did the same thing.

You can edit your description of the item. You need to include what version of WiFi this one uses (802.11 a, b, g, n, or whatever combination it has). N is the newest fastest one. G is the most popular, and B is as old as Windows 2000. Wireless A is actually extinct.

Also, what wireless security does it have? new models support WPA2 + AES 256-bit encryption or better. anything before WPA2 + AES encryption can be hacked / cracked within 6 seconds.

IMPORTANT: if you cannot provide that information, please tell us what the brand and model are. These things should be printed on the wireless adapter itself.

and next time, don't make your viewers do all the research for you. Learn to look a few things up and post them.

I absolutely DID tell you who the manufacturer was, and what type of adapter it is. If I am not mistaken, I also posted a link to a site that has more information about it, AND other people have left loads of info in the comments.

Don't tell me how to list MY items. I'm offering it for free, the least you could do is type a couple letters into google and read about it yourself. Or copy and paste the link I provided. If that is too hard for you, then move along to another auction. I am a mother to 2 children, and have very minimal spare time to do anything, especially answering stupid comments by YOU!

Congrats on making it to my block list. There are 9 other people there that can keep you company & entertain you.
