Hello, I am also interested in the next book on your list, about food cures. Computer is acting up and cannot get back to it. Will try later. Wow, you have a lot of books!

You "ain't" seen nuthin' yet. If Listia would let me list more than 100 and if I could determine what most of you are looking for, we would be in "high cotton"--I think that is an old Southern saying from my childhood!!! If I have not told you, we have two weekly auctions here in HS and almost every week they both have boxes of books. Some boxes with 10 or so and often boxes with closer to 50. I buy mystery paperbacks and have four friends that read them also; at the moment there are over 1500 sitting here in the "office/bookroom" and I don't there is a one that we all five have read or rejected. Someday the market will be flooded with mysteries. I collect hardcover cookbooks; presently have over 3,000 in the house. Now, to the posting: what you are seeing are books that I don't want, won't read, and need out of the way. Damaged in any way books are sent to the dump. Books that we have heavily duplicates of are usually boxed and given to our charity stores (where we also buy books for 25 cents to 50.) I would be afraid to guess, but I bet there are at least 50 boxes of books in my attached garages, many that I don't even know what is in them! Did not intend to write you a book, but one last thing. I have many what we call coffee table books, oversized and the type that the nation-wide stores sell for $85 to $165 that I don't know how to list since I have discovered that it is harder to get bidders unless you have free shipping. And, yes, there are many books in those boxes about cures. If you don't get what you are wanting, let me know and next time I go digging I will find something for you. Sorry about this length...guess I like to write books!!! Jay

F&W I am also a cookbook collector, but right now am disabled & livingwith my daughter & her family, so I've had to somewhat curtail my cookbook collecting. If you have any books by the authors Scott Cunningham or Raven Grimassi. (2 books in particular) The Seekers Guide To The Well Worn Path; & the other TheSeekers Guide To The Hidden Path, are 2 books I have been looking for. I love books & havve always tried to innstill that in my children & now my grandchildren. I belong to 3 Book Clubs for My grandchildren, & 6 different ones my self! Blessings, Bonnie

Since the two are not mysteries they are not within my mental filing cabinet. However, I will check a couple of sites and see if I can find either of the books. Will let you know later.

I liked your story. Your house sounds like me and purses! lol. I am interested in books on natural cures, aromatherapy, books on edible plants for my survival kit, unique herb and organic gardening books, and especially early 1900's books about old time remedies. I have one from the goodwill from 1908 that I love, The People's Home Library. They used some wierd/illegal stuff back then.
I don't care if the books have some notes, stains, or slightly torn pages. It just adds charachter.
It is hard to know what people want. Just keep asking them in your listings. Have you tried childern's books? I will try to go thru your list again now.
Do you ship media mail? It is ususally cheaper than regular packages.

I have books, now with Listia, on five sites and all books go media except in the rare case where first class is actually cheaper. I have been doing a few children's book and will do more if Listia ever lets me have more than 100 books posted at a time. Stay with me and I will try to remember as I dig through boxes piled up from the auctions to look for something you might like. I just told a gal that is winning at leat one to three auctions every day that I am going to start including freebies with my frequent winners. And in your case, I probably have some books that I will not list due to markings, underlinings, etc. and could offer a bunch cheap. I know most people don't like the postage thing, but I almost have to charge postage with the number of books I am sending out....so I try to hold down the credit starting bids except in a couple of case where I don't mind if the book doesn't go.
