Not to be stupid, but the listing says this dress is black but the photo looks navy. Is it the fabric that sort of changes colors as the light on it changes? Smoke free home?

It's black I promise! The dress is taffeta, which does have a reflective character to it. Plus I think my flash was a little on the bright side. And yes it is from a smoke free home. I do have pets, but the dress has been well cared for and properly stored in a garment bag.
