oh, good! when it is that close, I put it in a priority box when I take to the post office and ask them if it can be shipped cheaper another way. they are really patient and nice and always tell me the cheapest way

how much to ship to 08638.would you do free shipping with gin?

I can't do gin cause there's already a bid on it. I tried guessing on the usps site. I don't have scales to weigh it and I would rather err too high then too low. I put in your zip code and 5 lbs. it said $12 something. may weigh less then 5 lb so would cost less. I can put it in medium flat rate box and see how much it costs by weight and tell you the cheapest way if you win. that is how I do it

Does it come with power adapter and the antennae? Thanks
Aug 9th, 2012 at 12:38:26 PM PDT by
Original
If I can find a power adapter with my other cords I have gotten from storage units, I will throw it in with it. not sure I have an antennae so winner may have to find one of those. If I can find one that fits at home, I will but don't want to put money in this.

I know :( I don't know how to test it

Yea you'd need an antenna AND you'd have to program a local police/fire/ambulance or weather frequency to tell if it's receiving. However, just the fact it comes on is a huge plus! :) I got some credits coming my way so I'm willing to take a chance. will be a biddin soon I'm sure.

thanks for the info and the bids! I figured you needed the antenea. sorry i don't have it but figured it could be replaced. there were so many buttons, i didn't know what to push and all i knew was it needed to be on a certain channel but i didn't know what channel!

I am not good at this part at all. always say too much. I put in the zip codes and guessed at the weight ( that's where I mess up) I put in 4 lb? and it said $10.41. does that help at all or scare you off? haha

As far as figuring out how to program it this particular receiver is notorious for being complicated from what I've read lol although easy once figured out but there are plenty of places to read the manual online so no biggy. The antenna can be bought for $10-$20 I would expect so not too bad. :)

bumped your bid up atleast, hehe. oh yea and you do accept paypal for shipping right? :)

oh yeah, paypal is my favorite form of pay except they take forever sometimes to transfer my money to bank! or at least it seems like forever! haha thanks! sometimes, when I bid on things, that's all I manage to do is make it go up for the seller. which is still a good thing, right? haha
