okay... soo... what you are bidding on is a 2001 princess of ireland barbie doll from the princess dolls of the world collection series. she's never been out of the box and is beautiful w/her golden crown, long auburn hair w/braid in front, wearing a velvet cape and elegant gown.

AND.... i wanted this to be a fun auction w/a freebie included so i filled a crystal vase full w/miscellaneous sized beads w/pics of all angles & measurements. your job is to leave a comment w/the exact amount of beads in the vase and whoever guesses the correct number wins the special edition barbie pictured above FOR FREE!!!

there is one catch though....
you have to bid a minimal of 50 credits or more for your guess to count and every time you bid gives you another shot at guessing the correct number. if no one guesses the correct amount at the end of auction, she will go to the closest number w/out going over.

so now that we all understand how this is gonna go... let's start playing... :o)

happyfacekat AND julie532 both win! i have another NIB 2002 barbie diva collectible doll that i was going to auction but instead will give away. i believe you can either google the doll or search for it on ebay to see what she looks like.

I believe that Happyfacekat should win because Julie532 didn't accompany her guess of 711 with a bid. You didn't say that if you're the high bidder you get to keep guessing until someone outbids you, which is what I think Julie532 is insinuating. According to the rules, I think Happyfacekat is the winner of the second Barbie.

I am happy for you.but technically you did not "beat me to it" you did not make a comment,you only typed a number.The instructions say "the first COMMENT w/the correct guess wins" Also the rule was you had to make a bid to get a guess you made your last bid on 8/12 .So see rubbing someones nose in it,isn't always the best idea. oh yay! i'm happy i made it fun. i sooo love giving freebies when i can and making things a lil different. i got this idea from when i was in grade school. my teacher would bring in a big jar of candy for all of us to druel over and at the end of the day we would all write down on a piece of paper how many we thought were in it and who ever guessed it right or came closest would get the candies. i loved the game so much it just stayed fresh in my memory lol. a little while ago i had a mac make-up auction w/the same game as the bonus freebie but instead of beads, it was coins. the winner got the money sent in a gift card of choice. there was around $130 something i think and 2 people guessed the correct amount so i had to split it. it was fun too.
and yah, i don't mind copy cats--i love trend setting hehe
