What does size MA mean. I am looking for things to get my neice but she is only a 5T right now....my sister wants to put her into dance...could this be altered to fit smaller sizes?

I am not real clear on what MA means but that is what is on the tag. I am thinking it means "mature" but I am not sure. I do not think it would fit a 5 yo sorry, it is more of a young miss size. it fits my 10 yo perfect. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Thank you for asking :0)
