Description

The listing, genuine, polka dotted, patriotic, porcupine eggs, rare has ended.

This is a trio of genuine, polka dotted, patriotic, porcupine eggs, (painted cucci burrs.) These guys have STUCK with our country through thick and thin. They never cared about how bad they were treated and never complained to anyone about race, religion or taxes. They just keep hangin' in there, no matter how bad the economy gets or how hard the wind blows, you can guarantee that they will be around. Hats off to these prickly little fellows for being a one of a kind, true and tough american icon. They make good hat pins too, stick to just about anything. They are actually blue and red with white polka dots but I could not get my camera to make the blue look blue. LOL

In order to continue to offer free shipping I will have to wait until the 3rd to mail items. If that is a problem either don't bid or send me your zip code and I will let you know how much shipping will be and you can pay to get them there quicker. Some of my heavier items I am splitting the shipping with the winner. I have tried to do straight free shipping and have been spending over $100 a month on shipping which I can't afford. Thank you for understanding.

LOL, this is too funny! The first time I ever saw these called porcupine eggs was during a trip to Texas back in 1971. The man selling them was so surprised that I knew what they were because I had told him I was from Mississippi. Apparently he did not realize they were al over MS. too. I had to buy them because I thought it was so novel of him to call them porcupine eggs. Now, 41 yeaars later, I find them in Texas again, lol. I love the little story you wrote about them. I used to get them all over me when playing in the woods and they were no fun removing them from your hair. Thank you for this wonderful trip down memory lane!

Yes, mam I know what you mean. LOL I can't really take credit for the little story because my son actually came up with that. He is quite a wit. Thank you.
