Description

The listing, !!! MYSTERY Box !!! has ended.

I have been lurking around seeing whats popular and these mystery boxes seem to be where its at. Im going to try my luck here. The best way to start a new auction is to make it AMAZING!! so, here goes: Starting box is 5 items, for every 100 credits I will add another item.
100 credits = 5 items
200 credits = 6
300 credits = 7
400 credits = 8......
1000 = 14 items
2000 = 24 items
3000 = 34 items
so on and so forth

Here are the categories of whats going to be inside:
Bath & Bathroom
Body & skin care
Home scents/Candles
Stationary/Writing Supplies
CD's/DVD's
Books & reading
Jewelery & jewelery related
Home Decor & Ambiance
Clothing & Clothing related
Make up & Face care
Wall Art & Frames
Mens Items
Baby clothes & Toys & related
Kids clothes & toys & related
Gift Cards
Packing Items & related
Cleaning Items & related
Dishware & Kitchen

If you are the winner you CAN specify which item categories I should include (If you dont have kids, obviously you dont want kid items) The best part is, If your the winner, you can pick as many categories as you want! If you want ONLY jewelry, and lets say you bid 1000 credits,(example) I will send you 14 items of jewelery! make sense? Some new (like personal stuff, make up, bath, ect.) some used like the Dvd's/Cd's, jewelery (If I bought it all new Id be broke) Thats part of the mystery.

This box is going to cost me a fortune to ship!To Help cover costs, shipping will be $10, Paypal/money order

Fine print: any questions, DONT flag my auction, just ask, I ship once a week, If your from the USA this can take up to 4 weeks to reach you, I dont ship internationally, and if you fail to respond in 3 days I will re-list and keep your credits. Look at my feedback, I have 100% positive, and I take that seriously.Become a fan! Check my other auctions :)

Random question but I am in Canada as well and totallt agree about how these mystery box auctions are popular but as far as i know Canada doesnt have the Flat rate boxes like the states do so what do you use just a normal box? or did I miss something and we do Have those flat rate boxes?

and I am definitly watching this auction! and looking into your others!!!

Ya, your right, we dont have flat rate boxes, I have to use a regular box, and then pay the postage on it, so it will cost alot, I shipped 2 small boxes to USA and one was $28 the other was $22 :( Oh well, its fun to make these boxes! (BID PEOPLE!! BID!!)

well live and learn right? I sent a small box with diapers, figured it would be like $8, so I put 8 stamps, and when I took it to the post office for verification it was actually $22!!! I nearly fell over! so I have decided not to free ship large items to the USA, only smaller ones. SO here's hoping a CANADIAN wins!!

Yikes i would have fell over too! and maybe i'll win it BWHAHAHHAHA LOL

:D here's hoping! I also mailed 4 paperback books, and weighed it before adding postage (smart me) it was $22!!! *SHOCK* so no more big ticket items to the usa! It annoys me that some USA'ers wont ship small items to canada though...like a hair barrette or a baseball card. :( Trying to encourage them to do so by listing auctions like this one with FREEEEEEE SHIPPING

Yea at least not super heavey ones LOL
and I totally agree with you about some people in the us thatwont ship even the smallest items for free. One of the first auctions I won on here listed it as free shipping it didnt say us only or anything and it was a pokemon card for my little brother and after i won it the guy messages me back and goes uhhh this is Canada its gonna cost me ALOT more to ship it there and wanted me to send him $9 so he could ship it! He ended up sending it anyway :) But like you said live and learn :D

ok, $9?! what?! for a pokemon card? stick it in an envelope, grab a canadian stamp, and send it, that should be no more than $2 at the most. I know USA stamps are $! a piece here, I dont know what canadian stamps cost over there...I can see why the USA wont ship big items though...they'd be broke :D

Lol it was insane and I got it the other day and it says$0.75 on it so it rly only cost him like 75 cents and maybe the cost of a envie but those r usually bought in packs so that wouldnt cost$9LOL

well maybe some USA'ers will see these comments and give us canadians a chance

LOLLL! like you comment tashajamie XD but actually a lot of users agree to ship small items(and sometimes big items too) to canada, a video game is $2.50 or less and something in a small envelope is about a dollar or less so if you told them that the shipping cost is small, a lot of them agree to ship free to canada! :) and i got a purse last time, a big box! like 30cm X 30cm and the shipping cost was 8$! ridiculous! if it was shipped from canada It would have cost like 25, 30$!!!

I agree about the bigger items, but something small, like a card, a coin ect, people should not be so reluctant to ship to canada! I got a registered envelope with a collector penny in it and the stamp from UPS says right on it $0.54 so I dont get what the big deal is! I can understand why bigger things are just too much of a hassle to send..(Like the books and diapers I sent to USA cos me $50)
Jul 14th, 2010 at 10:46:22 AM PDT by
Original
no way!!!! 50$!!! so if it's that much, why are you keeping doing auctions that cost that much to send? I love listia but I just don't have the money to send a lot of things
Jul 14th, 2010 at 11:01:50 AM PDT by
Original
well, when I sent the books, I thought they would cost like...$8-$9? and the diapers were really light, i thought...$9? YA NOT! Got to the post office (in canada it goes by weight) One parcel was $28 he other was $22 and THAT is why I wont ship big items to the USA! Why do I continue to use listia? Its fun to get free stuff in the mail!!

I've agreed to ship to Canada a few times if the person wins, but they never did. I think sometimes its not just the charges for shipping that puts people off from shipping to Canada. I think most people have it in their minds that there is alot of paperwork to do with the item to be shipped. Honestly, that's what I used to think,
before I really checked it out. I thought you had to fill out all kinds of customs forms and stuff like that. Maybe listia can be some info in there help section for sending items to Canada. Maybe soemone should suggest it, who knows maybe they will write something up for everyone..........Good Luck with your Auction!!

I agree msbiz I think some USAers think there is customs and THERE ISNT! Unless its alcohol, or tobacco. And ya know what? I am going to use your suggestion and send it to listia!
