The listing, Vintage Pierced Threaded Post Earrings has ended.

These are vintage late 19th century or early 20th century threaded post (circa 1895 I believe.) These were my Grandmothers and given to her by her Brother. All original even with the keepers.

Pink stones with beautiful sparkle. The earring posts are threaded along with the keepers. They act similiar to threading a bolt. The earring back twists onto the threaded post to hold the earrings securely in place. This type of earring is rarely found today.

To remove your earrings hold the backing of your antique threaded back and rotate it to the left to move it towards the end of the post and into your hand..

I've tried to show the threading of the posts and the orginal keepers. Size is shown by the photos with the ruler.

I know the photos aren't great but at least hopefully you see through to the beauty and age of these.

No markings that I could find on these.

Your earrings are very beautiful. I am going to be watching. I know just from one pair of earring I bought along time ago they also have screw backs on them. Now I figured that if a pair of earrings have screw backs on them they are not cheap and they are not something you would want to lose. Being new&about to list my first item just reading this one has taught me so much I am so grateful for how open&honest ya'lls talking has been.It's been helpful in helping me decide how&what to list first it's just amazing at just how free so many people want things to be yet if they walked in a store they would have to pay a lot more then want you to ship it free!Then turn around&sell the items on Ebay!The reason I signed up was to hopefully find some good people like I did years ago a group of about 200 someone would make a box of stuff then add to it as people bid on it with postage stamps&coupons all I want to do is sell a few things make someone happy with things we have never used&get things for my grandson.I wonder if the stress of being in this wheelchair with a handicap grandson that's only 18mts old is worth the trouble ya'll have been through!I found your auction when I wanted to take photos of jewelry&your heart ring came up first when I was looking for ways to get pictures I thought it was just me&my"not smart phone"not taking good pictures glad to see others have the same problem I spent 4 hours of taking pictures of jewelry only to not want to wake my husband up to get me a ruler for the necklaces&will have to figure out what size some of the rings are but being unable to walk he set everything up on side my bed before he went to bed&never thought about having to put the length of things on here of the items&I couldn't wake that man after he's been so sick all week in fact all four of us have been so sick they had to call off our grandsons g-tube surgery that was suppose to be on the 20th but he was way too sick to be put under so it's another waiting game.Good Luck with your auction&thank YA'LL!!!

Hi Ladyhawkred! I do hope your week improves too. Boy I know all about having a terrible week too. I do hope you can keep your perfect 100% feedback score. I too work very hard to be sure everything is delivered in excellent shape and with delivery confirmation to be sure. Even if you use it and it shows it's delivered, the support team won't do anything about the liars feedback. They won't remove it because it doesn't violate Listia rules??????? All in all it's a learning experience that's not so great..lol.

Love the way your fighting back. Thonk I may just have to try that. About 2 or 3 weeks ago everything that I would big on automatically took the gin if the item had one. Long story short, a seller got to keep my 12000 credits and did not have to give me the item.

Oh harpo that's so terrible to hear. I'm sorry it happened to you also. Listia support isn't perfect but maybe sometime they will be able to spot the liars and cull them out without damaging the "Good Listians" on the site. I was taught to believe in yourself and stand up for what is good and right in life. I don't tolerate liars in any form, shape or manner. You can be in the right until your blue in the face and still be told nope, they can't do a thing about it..lol.

These are late 19 Century or very early 20th Century earrings. They belonged to my Grandmother who passed in the early 60's at age 96. Thank you for your comments kipsie.
