here is a pre-2 dollar ban 2 dollar bill! if you do not know these bills where quite common until ~ 1980 where the us government discontinued and destroyed a large quantity of these bills, they have of course brought them back into circulation, and although still us currency the new bills are mainly collectors items! as a child i managed to save this 2 dollar bill from the furnace! quite rare, and as you can see from the second pic, it is from 1976!
