This Norman Rockwell 'Sour Note' Collector Plate is white porcelain and is approximately 8-inches in diameter at the rim. This plate was a Limited Edition made in 1981 by Royal Manor Porcelain for the Norman Rockwell Collection. Around outer and inner rim of the plate is a gold leaf line and on the rim is a gold leaf star and swirl decoration. The pictured art on the front of the plate is based on the Norman Rockwell artwork 'Sour Note' and it features a boy playing a guitar and singing with his dog looking on and his sister holding her hands over her ears (I'm guessing the boy is not a good singer LOL). On the back of the plate in black lettering is 'Sour Note', 'BY NORMAN ROCKWELL', 'PLATE II IN MAGIC MOMENTS OF CHILDHOOD', '-A COLLECTION OF FOUR PORCELAIN PLATES FROM THE ART OF AMERICA'S BEST-LOVED ARTIST.', 'THIS PLATE IS FROM A LIMITED EDITION CREATED DURING A SINGLE SCEDULE OF 60 FIRING DAYS.', under that is the Royal Manor Porcelain mark and next to that is the Norman Rockwell Colleciton of Legandary Art mark, under those is the copyright symbol, 'LMI 1981'.
In excellent condition.
This plate does have some weight to it and it will have to packaged properly for mailing. So I ask that you please make this worth my while. I am offering free shipping!
