I planted some Long Purple - Japanese/Chinese Eggplant, but there are more seeds than I can possibly use in the packet. This is for 10 seeds. They were purchased last December, and are fresh.

Questions & Comments

I don't know much about eggplant so forgive me if this is a dumb question! lol Do these taste like the regular black beauty eggplant that is much more roundish? Or is there a difference in taste? Looks like these type may have a shorter harvest time? Thanks for any info you can give me! I will look them up on the internet I just thought you may have personal experience growing them! :)

I think they taste the same, just slimmer. I use them for asian cooking. also you can make small round with them, unlike their larger counterpart. Great for making into strips and grilling as well. Hope you enjoy them.
