To those bidding on these for the "gold" value,I hope your smart enough to realize these are all Gold plate,Filled or Rolled gold,All of which is useless to your corner "WE buy gold shop",They will march you right back out the door,,These items are precious to me to save,Refurbish and collect. They have no SCRAP value whatsoever...So let someone have them who has the right intention,To preserve and keep some memories alive for the people who truly love them....Thanks for listening,,,,,Drummer..:O)
Don't let it get to you, you have a exemplary track record and it is pretty obvious to everyone that if he had not gotten it he would have been able to leave negative, some people on here are just rude, I am watching this and hopefully will be able to bid :)
Evelyn43 thank you for your kind words. They mean a lot to me. Thank you too for watching and hopefully bidding. I'm just happy to have a friendly Listian on here with me.
Hi Nancy, I have gotten more neutral feedback then I care to mention, lol, most are because I never received the item or what they sent was fake, here is what you can do and I hope it helps, since you have proof that it was sent, send Listia a support ticket and ask them to remove the comment in the feedback, it will still be neutral but the lie of that Seller will be removed I think, I have blocked this dis-honest person as well, awesome auction :)
Thank you so much Evelyn43. I did contact Listia through their support system and their reply was the following to me.
I'm sorry he may have received the item and the feedback may be untrue but we cannot remove the feedback because it doesn't violate our abuse policy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above is a direct quote from them. I couldn't believe they could be so uncaring but it is what it is. I have proof of the delivery but it doesn't mean anything to support.
Im already working on these in my mind,Im praying hard i win,No offense to anyone but i will preserve them,I work on these and have a much older friend who shows me what i dont know,So everyone NOT bidding,Send me your positive energy...I just do not want these scrapped..That would madden me!
Blessings to you drummer1459! I would love knowing the vintage watches would be preserved and put to working condition once again. There is a lot of history in this group. The Hopalong Cassidy has a ton of fond memories for me..
Sending you positive thoughts and good vibes on this auction!
Hi again rporter51. I did block them but the point to that was he lied and item was delivered super fast with delivery confirmation and sent Priority. I detest liars and how dare he lie on Listia. Listia is the greatest site I've ever been on and I love it!
Love the number goes up...good luck Nancy 481.. I spoke with my jewelrer guy and he said if I win he can tell how much it wil cost me to fix it.. I am trying to keep the points up..Good luck everyone who are bidding and who are not..
I received a neutral feedback today that is untrue and am fighting back the only way I know how since Listia doesn't have a rebuttable section. Item was delivered and here's the proof. I value my feedback 100% and won't allow this to stand like this.

Tell you what,If i win,Which i REALLY want to,Ill offer that pocketwatch to Montesino,Because i know how it feels to want something within my grasp and have it slip away....My interest is in getting a certain 'Hopa along Cassidy watch" fully operational and refurbished because i know it means alot to a certain person....**SMILES**
What a awesome thing that would be drummer1459, I loved hearing that and your understanding. Blessings Galore to you!! I can't wait for the Hopalong Cassidy to be up and running!!
rporter51 that's the American Waltham (Pocket Watch) the long fob has a pearl like stone on i';s end. the inside of the pocket watch has a small circle on the bottom of the watch with second hands. Hope that's the one your asking about??
rporter51 the one that's to the far right is a cloisonné type ladies neck watch. The name of the watch will have to wait until tomorrow as I don't focus too well at night with my eyes. That one also has a long chain.
Ah, the pocket watch with the fob? If so hang on and I will see if it has a manufactors name on it. I do know on the back side it has a circle that opens for a photo. BRB!!
Love the way you responded to the "junk" comment. Very classy retort. They are beautiful. Drummer, these are the type I was referring to. Fanned & watching.
Thank you ArkieBelle62! To me old isn't junk..lol. I have items from my Grandmother and Uncle from the late 1890's and I feel they are beautiful and show the history of our lives. Thanks so much for fanning and watching. Fanned you back!
Your welcome Nancy!...Thats how i feel about it also,To many beautiful old things getting melted down without even a peek,Shame really...But then theres people who enjoy seeing them work again,I just finished a Sheffield Flower wind up alarm clock,When i hear that alarm go off,It reminds me of the old school bells LOL
drummer1459 That is so eloquent and true. I love all old things even if they stop working or aren’t new. I feel it’s a huge part of our history and shouldn’t be lost forever. Huge hugs to you for caring and saving a part of history by repairing ,restoring these to a new life to be enjoyed!
It will be great to know these will be back in working condition and enjoyed!! I'd love to know the Hopalong Cassidy would be working again. Thank you so very much drummer1459!!
Excuse me but they are not junk. They are vintage watches..Not a one takes a battery so No they will not work unless they are repaired by someone who knows how. Thanks for your question.
Will be watching this closely I have some very unique watches and I think a few of these would add to a fine collection I already have thank you will be fanned and watching feel free to fan me back if you would like to
Thank you cowboy1967 for your nice comments. I wasn't certain anyone would be interested in these. I'm glad someone is a collector and enjoys old watches. Thanks for fanning and watching, am fanning you back!
