iam sorry dont understnad what you mean by that I bought two for my grandson 4 years ago and they are 0-6 months seats one came from wlamart and the other was from a lil chidrens shop in myrtle beach thanks for looking

Graco car seats expire 6 years after the manufactured date. Car seats expire because over the years the plastic wears down and will not function properly in the event of a crash. You can find the expiration date engraved into the plastic on the back. It will say "Do not use after December 20XX". You can also look at the sticker on the side and count 6 years from the manufactured date. If it's expired, you need to cut the straps, write "expired- do not use" on it in sharpie, and throw it out with the trash.
