I appriciate what you are saying but the reason I am asking is so I dont have to waste money I dont have to ship the item back and have my credits tied up. I have already had 1 ps3 auction go wrong and was refunded by listia, so i am serious about this.he needs to get his description right otherwise there will be a lot of exchanging back and forth that really is not necessary

i would check the firmware again but its already packed up an ready to be shipped out and i beleive it has 4... all my others do.... and its not ps2 compatible

like i said it one of the first comments it was a gift from my old girlfriend she told me it was new i know it still works great...... The firmware said 3.40 but i cant check it again cause i have it packed and ready to ship to who ever wins

actually the new firmware will stay in the bios chip forever unless you have a special device that flashes it to an earlier firmware. it will not reset it, it has been mentioned on several forums. but thanks for your advice. and there is not a jailbreak available yet for this firmware. only up to 3.60 so far....

could you please do me a favor, it will only take you a few moments to take the ps3 out of its box, will you please double check the firmware to see which it is? and read the model number while you do it, id be really grateful for your efforts, you say this is like your job, wouldn't you want to keep your buyers interested? this is worth over 80000 credits to me if you can verify its firmware at 3.40 and its model number, it would mean that it is jailbreakable and I could put homebrew on it. I'm unsure about the four usb ports since all BC units had them and this one isnt BC.....thanks again for your efforts

you are aware that it can still be jailbroken even though he updated it all you do is restore that system back to its factory settings and it will drop it back down and then jailbreak it just so you know and your about to run out of time on this auction anyway i just want to be outbid before my other auction closes on me because then ill be mad and just outbid you on this one anyway...
