I am happy that everyone is enjoying these. They are net to have and show what the old south money looked like. It would be net to have your children see them and take them to school for show and tell if they are in a frame. They are very very old.
Very interesting item. Is this printed on the back or only on one side? Printed in just one color of ink? Is it on a thin, fine cloth-like paper or hard, crisp and crinkly paper? Are there any colored threads in the paper/cloth that the bill is printed on? Are the signatures printed or signed (in pen) on the document (the ink would be a little different? (These attributes would be helpful in determining if this is a replica/facsimile/fake/forgery or original/genuine note -- all of which have some value -- and some much more!) Do you have any recollection as to how you came by this item and when? Thanks for any and all the information that you can offer.
