The woman who made this was a master crafter who used top quality materials for her jewelry and commanded a pretty high price. As we know, everything has changed and we can now find these beautiful things for a much humbler price. We used to call these "potato" pearls- because they were not round. If they were round, they would be worth a bundle because they are really big. They have beautiful color and more surfaces to reflect their rainbows. i love them, but do not wear them well.They are 52" long and hand knotted, a difficult thing to do well and she did.
Really sumptuous and I paid a bit for them, so enjoy their beauty and craftsmanship. Get dressed up in these. wait until you see them- so gorgeous!
