FREE: iphone- READ EVERYTHING!!!!!!

This auction is for an iphone. I believe it is a 3gs and that is what I was told by the person that gave this to me, but I cannot promise that as I honestly know nothing about this phone or iphones in general. This phone DOES HAVE ISSUES! You can see there are some dead pixels and the back housing needs replaced and it is also missing the sim tray(can be bought for a dollar on ebay). The screen has normal light scratches as well. I am NOT the original owner and therefore do not know ALL issues it may or may not have. I got this with a trade and just glanced it over before putting it away. The only problem the girl that gave it to me told me was that the power button didnt work. I did not test it so i cannot confirm either way. The screen goes dim after a few seconds on the charger now when it connects (last time it did that was last week when I took these pics). I tried connecting it today and got nothing. Might be the battery, but I really don't know. It is missing the screws at the bottom (as seen) as well, so I am guessing it has been opened, but also dont know for sure. This auction is completely AS IS! I am pretty sure it will be a simple fix for someone that knows how to work on these. Touchscreen worked fine last week when it came on. The girl said she was using it as her everyday phone before giving it to me when I mentioned the issues I was having. I am including a video of the phone I took and posted on youtube as well so you can see very clearly as to what you will be getting. I am unaware of any water damage and the headphone port is white, BUT i cannot guarantee anything at all on this!
