what does this do exactly? need a card to make my laptop wirelessor at least non dial up does this do any of that?

check it out...the card plugs into the laptop via pcmia slot...the plug goes into the card and voila...you use a ethernet cord to start networking....this is not for wireless connections, merely wired ones...
