A continuous sequence of strange earthquakes is causing cities around the world to collapse into ruins. Dr. Ambrose Ink - one of the main causes of the technological revolution - intends to expose an underlying cause to this supernatural phenomenon.
His investigation leads to Hochwald, a city high in the mountains near the mysterious castle of the Barber family. However, shortly after arriving at the state, Dr. Ink disappeared.
It is up to Dr. Ink's longtime friend and data, an Evangeline Glass Agent, to save Dr. Ink and reveal what is causing the earthquakes. With only a mechanical raven to drive, she has to advance to the well-protected castle and face General Engineer Gottland.
