The listing, Baby Snake Plant has ended.

People call it Mother in Law's tongue, except the Mother in Law tongue has yellow bands. This is an easy to grow plant. It is popular as a houseplant as it is tolerant of low light levels and irregular watering; during winter it needs only one watering every couple of months. It will rot easily if overwatered.[

Native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is an evergreen plant spreads rapidly. Mature leaves are dark green with light gray-green cross-banding and usually range between 27-36 in tall.

Ancient Chinese tribes believed it lifted the evil eye s used in rituals to remove the evil eye. In Africa, the plant is used as a protective charm against evil or bewitch men. The plant yields bowstring hemp, a strong plant fiber once used to make bowstrings.

A study by NASA found that it is one of the best plants for improving indoor air quality by passively absorbing toxins such as nitrogen oxides and formaldehyde.

These plants are among the toughest of all houseplants—they can withstand virtually any conditions, from dark to bright. The only way to surely kill them is to overwater or never water at all.

Light: Although they are very forgiving, the sansevieria prefers bright light with some sun. They can adapt to full sun.
Water: Let the soil dry between waterings. During winter, reduce watering to monthly, or whenever the soil is dry to the touch. Err on the side of underwatering.
Temperature: They prefer warmth and will suffer if exposed to temperatures below 50ºF.
Soil: A loose, well-drained potting mix. They will do well in sandier soils.
Fertilizer: Feed a mild cactus fertilizer during the growing season; do not fertilizer in the winter.
