The listing, Pandora Battery Kit CFW installer for PSP has ended.

This is a Pandora Battery kit for the Playstation portable. It includes recovery software on the memory stick and a jigkick battery for installing it. It works on all old PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 models, but I'm not sure if it works on any newer ones.

This kit will allow you to install custom firmware on your PSP which will enable you to run homebrew applications and other cool stuff that is normally blocked or otherwise disabled by the stock firmware.

My favorite thing about PSPs is that you can do all sorts of emulation once it's jailbroken. In fact, with emulators, you can even play Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance games on it! There are also emulators for NES, SNES, Playstation 1, and a bunch other consoles. You can find a list of emulators by searching Google and psp.qj.net.

I think there is a fairly old version (5.00M33-5) on this stick, but it should be fairly easy to download the latest version and install it once the PSP is jailbroken and CFW is running.

This WILL work on a 2001 model? I thought the 1001 and 2001 models took different batteries.

I forgot to add that this doesn't work on PSP 2000 TA-088v3 models. I have no idea how to figure that out, so you should search google for more info. But it works for PSP 1000 for sure.

So do these batteries last like normal ones or are they just short lived batteries that stay working only long enought to MOD the system. Where were getting you CWF from, any ideas as to where I can get emulators?

Yep, they are only used to mod it, you can't run a PSP from it.
