Here are some of the hints that will pay healthy dividends: How can a deck of cards help you lose weight?, Why shouldn't you whisper when you have laryngitis?, How long is it safe to keep chicken in the freezer? (And, no, before you ask i did NOT even skim this book to see the answers; you should see some of the other hint/questions!) This book is heavy (it needs a deck of cards!!) so I am charging shipping but letting you start the bidding! Why shouldn't you wear perfume when you go to the beach?????

They are both listed at $4 each. And are not light books. I would think $5 would be ok....at least with me. By the way, I kinda got told today that I don't know what I am doing, that I should only be charging media rate (to do that correctly would mean weighing every book), that Listia only allows $4 tops on postage, and a few other things. I informed her that Listia says $4 should be it, but if shipper can show extra weight and packing, no problem. First she had asked if I would change one auction due to go off shortly to media rate and I told her gladly, which I did and promptly raised the opening bid! I then further explained that my main reason for some of the higher rates were so I could combine several books and really reduce the cost and quoted my first combined Listia which went from $15.50 to $9 and made the bidder very happy, I think. When I finaly checked her listings, she has had no activity in days and ot very much period. Oh, such is life!!!! I'm going upstairs and find some food!! "See" you tomorrow????

Just ignore comments like that. You sell a lot of books and you do know what you are doing. Shipping is not cheap. You could be starting the bidding higher, but you are very nice to start them low. You are appreciated by the rest of us:)

Hey, you just made my day. I am glad some of you understand! I try to do some free shipping, and yes, I get more bidders that way and lots more credits. But I am certain that I will never use what I have now. I decided today to just start bidding on everything that has free shipping; junk to good stuff. I can give it away, take it to a charity store, throw it in the trash, relist it(?), or stack it in the garage with all the other junk and books. Again, you have certainly helped make my first month on Listia a pleasure.....and I have done so much more than I ever expected. I am going to have to put at least two of my other sites on vacation until I can get caught up.
