Shinny metallic red metal--more like burgundy--two sided mirror compact. One side is regular mirror, the other morror is magnified at least 5 x if not more. "Estee Lauder" is embossed on the inside framework and when opened the edges have a non-slips surface. I bought this at an estate sale and it looks brand new and doesn't appear to have been used. Measures 3" in diamter, and about 1/2" thick in the middle. FREE SHIPPING
PS white & other shadows are reflections due to the mirror's polished surface.
