The listing, *3 DAYS* Hitachi Deskstar 160GB IDE Hard Drive has ended.

Up for auction is my faithful old 160GB (actually 164.7GB) Hitachi Deskstar. Haven't actually used it regularly for a few years now. It came out of an old build around 2005-2006, and went into an external HDD case which died within a couple of months. Tossed it all into a box and forgot about it completely until recently.

This drive has now been tested & formatted and still works like a charm.

So: Listia's rules apply, as always. Free US shipping. Verified addresses ONLY. No rude comments or get blocked.

Will ship asap after auction's end. I am quickly running out of anti-static bags, but will package this as safely and securely as I can.

Also, let me know if you need jumpers! I can include them upon request, otherwise it will get shipped as is.

If I win, I will putting it in an "External Case' and hooking up via USB. So, I guess that will not be a 'Primary" since main HD will still be in the PC. I see by your photo there are a good number of configurations. It may be best to throw in a few jumpers just to be sure I can have it properly hooked up and good to go. :-)

Works great in an external case that I won off of here - basically the reason I decided to hook it up to see if it was my old case that was bad or the HDD. Thankfully it was the junk $20 Mad Dog case that it was once in had died lol Shouldn't need any jumpers to run this off of an external, but will make sure to include some if you do win. Good luck :)
