Description

The listing, 15 Pandora Beads + Bracelet + TWO Pair Pandora Earrings + FAMOUS TURKEY drawing! has ended.

This LUCKY winner gets 15 Pandora style beads, TWO of my popular Pandora style earrings, a Pandora style bracelet ... AND the FAMOUS Listia Mozingo TURKEY drawing!

At 4,000 credits I will reveal an additional special mystery item, OR the winning bidder can REQUEST something from my Pandora or beading stash!

Here's what is included:
** 15 Pandora style beads (not name brand), FOUR with sterling cores, all different except for the pair of faceted peach beads. Please see the photos for details of all the beads.
** TWO pair of my popular Pandora bead earrings--BOTH with STERLING cores and STERLING ear wires! Both are glass beads! One is a soft aqua turquoise color with faceted milk glass--the only beads of this kind I have ever had on Listia. I made a pair for my sister and they were SO beautiful I couldn't resist offering a pair on Listia!
**A 7-inch Pandora style bracelet, not sterling or silver but a fun way to wear and display your Pandora beads.
*** AND the 8x11 inch TURKEY drawing, by Josh Mozingo ...part of MANY exciting Listia auctions in recent months (Josh, let us know how many in comments below!)!

The winner is STRONGLY encouraged to save this drawing and include it with a future listing. And, let us know if this turkey has passed through YOUR hands in the last few months!

Free US shipping too!

Please see my other findings and beads. I generally list a few items each night ... watch my upcoming listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303! See necklaces and earrings I've made recently at http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/gg146/natahoa/Jewelry/

WARNING to bidders ... many bids placed in the last minute never register because Listia's servers can get overwhelmed and slow down. If you want something PLEASE place your bid at LEAST two minutes before the auction end--before it's too late!

what exactly ARE pandora beads? Are they a certain brand or style?

Pandora is a brand name, but the "generic" product is European style charm bracelets. The beads are the charms. There are several brands of them, Troll, Biaggi, maybe more. The idea is that, like traditional charm bracelets, you buy a bead or other type of charm as a souvenir or as a gift for a special occasion. You can buy some very expensive beads/charms made with precious metals and gems too.

They've been around a while in Europe, and available in the US but have become very popular recently. Now that you can buy these cheaper "knock-off" beads, bracelets, necklaces and even special earring findings (which I don't use, I make my earrings with traditional bead findings). I just think they are beautiful, got into them to make gifts for my friends and family and so I bought more than I needed (in bulk from China) and am having SO much fun selling them on Listia!

Well, the heatwave doesn't help. I'm sure things will get better as you go. Do you have air conditioning there?

Awww, that can wait. Since you spend most of your time on Listia, all you really need is a desk and a chair ... LOL. You must be a little overhwlemed by all the stuff you got out of storage though!

I just must've missed that, but I did take it out and sign it, so the winner will get the signatures of the three of us who have had it. I thought it had been around more than that, but next week someone new will have it!

I wondered what happened to the great TURKEY art.
I was the first to sign it and return it to Josh..

You and me both baby ... I'd LOVE to win that MacBook, but only noticed it when it had five days left on it. And THIS auction won't end until long after the MacBook. I should be the wealthiest woman on Listia but NOOOOO I just HAVE to spend ALL my credits EVERY week. I've learned my lesson now!

Thanks for the info. I have seen so many of them on Listia and saw that they are very popular but had no idea where they came from etc.

I wish I was more talented so I could make cool stuff out of these beads as well lol. I have a whole section in my attic of crafts gone bad LOL

But I will leave that up to everyone else, and I will bid on the finished product :)

Thanks Star! These Pandora style earrings are easy to make but you have to have all the little bits of things, and if you're like me, maybe you just don't need yet another hobby!

Yes! This is an amazing lot! I think this will do pretty well! I already put in my first bid.
This is how the turkey picture started:

I think its important to have as much fun with this site as you can. I hope everyone can get a smile out of something like this.

Thanks Josh ... and thanks for talking me into letting you send it to me. I think this will be a lot of fun. I take Listia WAY too seriously sometimes, and haven't had a "big" auction in a while. Your turkey got me motivated to put together a special listing ... EXTRA special with the turkey!

Hi nat! crazy auction! you might want to warn bidders that they should allow at least an inch extra on the bracelet for the beads!
Jul 11th, 2010 at 9:08:23 PM PDT by
Original
Thanks Donna ... yes, I've found I need a 7.5 inch bracelet for me and my sister, but my daughter's need the 7 inch onces with their skinny wrists. It also depends on how many beads are on the bracelet ... if it is full, it is tighter!

Listia used to have more of these silly types of things, but I haven't seen as many lately. Maybe I'm just shopping in the wrong categories, but maybe this listing will get a few more crazy listings going!

Hey Mozingo ... the link you gave for one of the turkey auctions didn't include the drawing, it was a silver bullion listing. Then I checked out the link for the first time you listed it... wowzers it went over 1,000 credits just for the turkey! I remember that now, thinking ... sheesh, I should get my crayons out too! LOL ...

Too darned much fun.

Y'know, I'm not sure when this first appeared. I only joined Listia in March, so I don't think it was as far back as Thanksgiving but maybe it had circulated before I joined. Anyway, it's a fun thing on Listia. When I won it I asked Josh to keep it, because things were CRAZY town here at my Maryland house and I was afraid it might get lost or coffee spilled on it or something. But he insisted on sending it to me, and it's still safe and sound and now packaged carefully in a bubble envelope waiting to ship to the lucky new owner!

Thanks Bugs ... it has been a popular draw. I think when Mozingo first listed it, it was just the drawing ... not with any other item, and he got around 400 credits for it (my bad memory, correct me if I'm wrong Josh). The winner then paired it with something and got a LOT of credits for it, mostly because Josh wanted it back LOL! I think it has changed hands at least twice since then ... hoping it will bring my listing a little fun and luck!
