Yes, this is a real and spendable $5 bill. They only made so many of them with the red print on them. You should google "$5 red notes" and learn more about why they were printed. You can find all kinds of info on search engines.
I googled it and found plenty of information including: if the bill were to be pristine and uncirculated it would worth aprox $30. You can find them all over ebay and other auction sites! They are pretty rare and would be a good item to pass down your kids or even grandkids! Not to mention its a great part of American History! But... I don't see a need to worry about spending it. Except... you'd be giving away a $5 bill that is worth more than $5!
There are Bills with Red seals and bills with Blue seals, One is a GOLD Cert. the Other is Silver Cert. You Might note the bill might not read "IN GOD WE TRUST" these bills were backed by real gold or real silver (not oil) and can still be traded for the face value of which metal they are for. Very Very Nice!
ive never seen bills with red prints on them i have googled it to find out more info on them and have found nothing i would be worried about spending it due to it could be a counterfit bill
No, I work in a bank. This is NOT a counterfiet bill. I have googled it as $5 red note and there are a lot of links available. I don't know what you googled. There are red bills, blue (silver) and gold. This is a REAL bill that you can spend.
