This is awesome! I know you will get lots of bids for this because it is the real deal and not that of a copy. I only wished I had enough to GIN I only have like 6000. Just using up my credits so I can break free from listia before they go down. GL hun.
wish you did have the gin but i don't see or know what you are saying about listia going down sorry you want to break free. but i like it and alot of people do.
When i see listia warning us not to deal with this auction is the only time . i don't now how to tell if it is a fake auction but i do try to be careful. t

i just want to say that i have the exact same ones bought in the 60s from my grandfather as commemerative replicas...if its real i wouldnt put it on here..it should be in a museum and youd be getting alot more than points ...just saying..gold mine if its real...
I was told it is a replica not real and I think I have let every one know that, that has read all that has been said. So I have retracted what I had said and let every one know that it is a replica. I had only been going by what some one had told me and then when I found out that they were wrong I also put it that it was a replica and still has value as an old replica.
Why didn't you change the auction description to copy??? if you say it's a copy in comments??? have you looked at the hand written parts of the note to see if it is ink over the note printing with a 10x loop??? just curious...
They made counterfeit Confederate currency during the war itself to increase inflation of the Confederate economy as a war tactic. This still could be real and very old. Research it people. Im so glad your getting bids on this! I was going to take it at 5000 if you didn't. :)
even if it is a replica, i still want it. replicas sell on ebay from $50 to $75. as a Sunday school teacher, i believe in you. as a kid, every Sunday i had to go to Sunday school. i enjoyed it. as a 4yr old kid, i enjoyed all the stories. the best part was the cookies and sodas at the end of class.
