The gauge is 20 st by 16 rows/ size 4 needles. According to some online charts that makes it fine (2) but looking at it I think it is a thicker fine called Light (30). Hope this is helpful.

Oooohhh, this ends tonight, exciting! Gotta keep an eye on it without a bid ... did you get my e-mail? We should not bid on each other's things, at least for the time being. Listia is working on it, but we could get flagged by their automated systems.

Thanks for this. The donorsChoose.org is such a great organization and great idea. It allows anyone to donate for as little as $5.00 and you know all your money is going into the project for the classroom. Look for teachers near you!

Oh, I agree and normally I wouldn't DARE say that, but this is my sister, and it's her first auction--we were pretty jazzed when it got this high! But a lot of times when an item goes high early it doesn't got up much more. Final bids are completely unpredictable, as we all well know on Listia!

Telling someone to expect 3000 credits is suggestive and borderline subliminal. Look I'm not trying to feud with you, ok? Maybe someone will outbid me and I won't bother you again.

Hey folks, this is my SISTER ... she's gonna be a terrific seller just like ME! I'm not sure she's going to be as much of a Listia nut as I am, but you can trust that her items are what they say they are, and will get to you quickly. I only get to see my dear sister once a year, she's visiting us in Maryland at the moment and we are having a great visit!

I went to donors.org and sent you a contribution for your calculators, and e-mailed everyone in my address book, many of whom are teachers and admins at Jaqui's schools. Then I looked for postings in Des Moines, and couldn't find any, so maybe the teachers there will see my e-mail and work up a few proposals.

Thank you so much. The kids we use the donorsChoose.org items for are really not able to provide for themselves and it is donations like this that really make the difference! It is such a rush to open those boxes of new things with them in class and see them light up. Thank you!

You've got 11 watchers, that usually means you'll get a ton of last-minute bids.

BIDDER ALERT ... REMEMBER to put your bids in at LEAST two minutes before the end of the auction. LOTS of those last-minute bids never register. I don't know HOW many people have told me, "I bid 500 credits but it ended at 12 credits ...." LOL. Needless to say I wasn't too happy either.

Reminds me of the Uruguayan wool I bought my late Mother for Xmas several years ago. Can't remember how I found the supplier, but it was PREMIUM wool! Hope this is just as good!

Hey Linda, don't forget to "reply" in the reply boxes under each comment so the person gets an e-mail and knows you replied.

Y'know, I was thinking you ought to promote your teacher-donation website thingy on here. I can't remember the link or I'd do it for you, but you might get a lot of folks making donations for teacher supplies all over the country!

The name of the site is http://www.donorschoose.org. It lets people donate to classrooms across the country for particular items. The nice thing about it is the gifts are tax deductible and they will send the information in Jan for your taxes. Teachers love this because it allows them to do things that they use to do before the budgets got cut. It also allows teachers to think of a neat project and get funding for it.
