Description

The listing, 50 seeds ~ red TX Star Hibiscus -aka- TX Rose has ended.

Packet of 50 seeds: Hibiscus coccineus

These seeds are from the red variety of what is commonly called "Texas Star Hibiscus" -aka- Swamp Hibiscus, Scarlet Rose Mallow, Texas Rose and Scarlet Hibiscus. Grows in USDA zones 6a - 11, quite cold hardy! Grows well in damp spots and near water features such as ponds or streams, and less than well-draining soils.

A big plus is that it will grow in good soil that is not kept constantly moist!

All seeds I offer have been treated with ground cinnamon to help inhibit seedling problems with damp-off. Some surplus cinnamon residue will be seen in the seed packet.

U.S. auction winners pay $1.00 via PayPal for postage. ~OR~ Send a self-addressed envelope together with TWO -LOOSE- "Forever" postage stamps -- please do not affix the stamps to your envelope.
______________________________________________________________________________________
I will ship ANYWHERE for the EXACT cost of postage.

Payments are requested to be made by PayPal using "Personal" transaction method. This is not being done as a business, just gardener to gardener.

LISTIA rules prohibit requiring you to use the "Personal" option when using PayPal to pay for the postage, BUT you are allowed to give me a break. So, will ya, huh? Please. TIA.
