Thank you. I didn't know it would turn red in the sun. I'll have to get some out there and see what it does.. I generally keep them in the house or on the porch out of the direct sun. We get temps up to 119 sometimes, and even some succulents don't like that.

Actually, it is also called String of Buttons, Crassula perforata, and unfortunately it is not hardy in my area.

I have grown these indoors. I live in the middle desert and they don't like super hot direct sun, but they do well in partial shade.

String of buttons is correct~~ crassula perforata. Folks call plants by many names, don't they? I'm in the desert, too, we are practically neighbors!!
