The listing, Vintage container has ended.

Wasn't sure what category to put this under. It is old and I believe it was either used for cosmetics or medicine. It still has the medicinal scent so I am not sure. I do know that I do not need it sitting around here drawing dust...

Thanks! The depth is @ 1 3/4 inches. It is @ 2 1/2 inches across the top. It is little. I'm not sure what type of metal it is, but the lid is heavier than the bottom part because of the hearts on it.

The only marking is the copyright name on the lid. It is very small, but I believe that it says Metzke.
