I do not have all of my jewelry tested by a jeweler, but it is marked and I believe to be authentic. If I had any doubt I would not list it as Sterling. If I did have doubt I would acid test the piece myself. If it were an expensive piece that looked suspicious I would have it checked by a jeweler. I find no need with this necklace. Thank you for your question.
