stupid question, I have never played with any card that have "tokens" are these acting creatures or are they counters add to existing creatures...Its been a long time since I played the game under tourny rules lol and since I taught the basics to my godson we have only played with starter packs...lol

A token is a separate creature , in this case of Captain of the watch- you get 3 1/1 creatures in play in addition to the captain her self.. These tokens can be represented by putting 3 dice into play or by actual TOKEN solder cards that are available.. Some have even used 3 scraps of paper and called them the tokens! does this help?

lol I am watching a lot of your auctions... I have to look up the rules again...it has evolved since I first played in college lol..my godson is 11 and his sister is 8 and she learned how to play today with us. A few of the terms confuse us like when a card has an ability to add +1/+1 to another card by ability due to tapping does that card still attack itself?...he got new cards I had never seen and I was like I am going to have to look that up, maybe if I win a few of your auctions You can write down a term/definition list for me...like when a cards ability turns all attacking creatures into planeswalkers ...I felt so stupid because once upon a time I could remember all that stuff, its been like 9 years since I played on a daily basis. lol..so please dont laugh too hard

@sariel28 if u buy an intro pack it should come with a guide that has all the terms on it. plus you'll get a new deck and 2 extra packs of new cards. they should be $12.99. some stores r $2 more. or u can get a deck builder's kit that comes with 285 cards for $19.99. it also comes with terms and rules.
